The Bohemian Ball

Sample local cuisine from top area restaurants while you sip Monterey County wines, all showcased in the historic Carmel Mission Courtyard. Dance to a crowd-favorite, The Money Band, and then take a break from the festivities to bid on silent auction items ranging from restaurant specials to boutique goods. Get in the spirit and dress in your best bohemian outfit!

This event is 21 years and older. No one under 21 will be admitted. Only service animals permitted. No refunds.

Cost: $85 per person until September 22, 2016. $105 thereafter and at the door.


Monterey Movie Tour

Our tours offer food tastings from six unique eateries and specialty shops coupled with insightful presentations of Carmel’s cultural, historical, and architectural highlights provided by knowledgeable and entertaining local guides. Wine Walk-by-the-Sea™ Harvest Dinner

Enjoy the bounty of the season with creations infused with fresh local ingredients from the Salinas Valley presented by Chef Todd Fisher of Tarpy’s Roadhouse. Each course will be paired with Monterey County wines from Carmel Wine-Walk-by-the Sea participants. The opening 45-minute reception introduces you to the bohemian flair of old Carmel when locals gathered to share a meal together. Your dinner will find you seated with a winemaker at your table who will explain the complexities and qualities of each of the varietals he or she has chosen to complement Chef Todd’s selections. Dining al fresco in the Sunset Center courtyard, you will be surrounded by the past during this Carmel Centennial year, but the flavor profiles of the wine and the food will be decided contemporary. Your Harvest Dinner ticket is all-inclusive of the reception, 3-course dinner and accompanied wines.

An Evening with Jacques and Claudine Pépin: Heart and Soul

Master chef, author, and educator Jacques Pépin is "the original Iron Chef." He has published more than 25 cookbooks, hosted 12 highly acclaimed public television shows and taught millions of Americans — plus an entire generation of chefs — how to cook. His innovative approach to the kitchen begins with technique and ends with creation. Pépin believes that every meal should be a celebration. A James Beard award-nominated television series produced by KQED Public Television in San Francisco accompanied his book Essential Pépin. Pépin's most recent television program is Jacques Pépin: Heart and Soul, the thirteenth series produced by KQED for the chef.

The Wine Tasting Passport provides a "Wine Walk Flight" of up to four 1 oz. pours at your choice of any 9 of the 15 tasting rooms. This self-paced, self-guided visit to 15 tasting rooms in the square mile of Carmel-by-the Sea. Visitors can amble to each room to sample local estate-grown still and sparkling wines. A $90 value - the Passport does not expire, so it can be used over several days, weeks or even months.
