Scheid Vineyards

(831) 626-WINE (9463)

In our 44th year of farming, we own ten estate vineyards located along a 70-mile spread of the Salinas Valley. We built a state-of-the-art winery with a crushing capacity of 30,000 tons, as well as a smaller Reserve Winery where the small production wines of Scheid Vineyards are crafted. With 4,000 acres of vineyards, we sell the majority of our production as custom-made wines to other wineries. And happily, we are still the Gang of 4, with Al spending a little less time working and a little more time golfing, Scott heading up the operation as President and CEO, Kurt running the vineyards and winery as Chief Operating Officer, and Heidi managing sales, marketing and myriad of other duties as Senior Vice President.

Galante Vineyards

At Galante Vineyards our philosophy is simple: grow the finest grapes possible and let the fruit express itself in the wine. Since all of our grapes are estate grown, each bottle of wine we produce embodies the characteristics of our unique region, exhibiting the natural flavors that are born from the land. The Galante Family has a long history in the Monterey area. Owner Jack Galante's great grandfather, J.F. Devendorf, was the founder of the town of Carmel. He later built the Pine Inn and the prestigious Highlands Inn. In 1969, Jack's parents purchased a 700-acre cattle ranch in rustic Carmel Valley. While still maintaining a working cattle ranch, the Galantes, in 1983, began growing premium grapes on their property, specializing in Cabernet Sauvignon. In 1994, Jack Galante decided to build a winery and use some of his grapes to produce ultra-premium estate bottled wines. Today Galante is recognized as one of the premier Cabernet Sauvignon producers in Monterey County and all of California.

Manzoni Cellars

(831) 620-6541

For almost 100 years, our family has lived and farmed in this beautiful little part of California’s Monterey County – today known to wine lovers as the Santa Lucia Highlands appellation. The SLH – one of the New World’s prestige addresses for growing cool-climate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Syrah. In many vineyards, high yields are the standard. The Manzoni Estate Vineyard strives, instead, for low yield – just three to four tons per acre. The crop is thinned by hand during the ripening process dropping the green fruit and small clusters. This meticulous process assures that the fruit is properly ripened. Superior harvest standards, relying on hand labor and hand selection of grapes, assures you that each wine you purchase is a premium vintage made from only the finest fruit. We have been producing award winning wines since 2003.

Silvestri Vineyards

(831) 625-0111

Alan Silvestri, one of Hollywoods most prolific film composers, has written the scores for over 100 films. Alan and his wife, Sandra, a former Ford model, activist and fundraiser for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, have been married 37 years and moved to the Monterey Peninsula in 1989. Following the footsteps of Alan's Italian grandparents the Silvestris began a vineyard in Carmel Valley in 1999. Their first vintage was 2003 and from those first Chardonnays, Syrahs, and Pinot Noirs the Silvestri Vineyards has produced some of the highest rated estate wines from Carmel Valley. The rocky soil and coastal weather are perfect for growing the 13 varietals handcrafted by their winemaker, Frank Melicia. Frank joined Silvestri Vineyards in 2012 bringing knowledge and experience acquired working in his family vineyard. The partnership of the Silvestris and Frank Melicia is represented in the Barbera, Red Ranger Syrah, Rising Tide Pinot Noir and the Bella Sandra Chardonnay earning high praise from critics and fans. Salute!

Today, the winery works closely with top winegrowers in the Santa Lucia Highlands, Santa Rita Hills, Arroyo Grande Valley, Santa Maria Valley, Russian River Valley, Chalone and Santa Cruz Mountains appellations. The label has grown to national prominence among collectors and reviewers by cultivating long-term partnerships with passionate winegrowers and vineyards the likes of Garys’, Pisoni, Rosella’s, Doctor's, Sierra Madre and Rincon.

Luli Wines

(831) 675-0597

Luli represents a partnership formed by Sara Floyd and the Pisoni Family. Sara Floyd is a Master Sommelier with many years of food and wine experience. The Pisoni Family is known for their eponymous vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands and for Pisoni Estate and Lucia wines. Deciding they would make a great partnership and noting the shortage of handcrafted wines at reasonable prices, they set out to create a new line of wines for this niche. To achieve this, Floyd and the Pisoni Family focus on purchasing grapes from multiple vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands and the greater Monterey County- California coastal regions excellent for growing cool climate grapes.

Albatross Ridge Winery

(831) 402-8992

In the 1930s, famed engineer and pilot William Hawley Bowlus, whose pioneering sailplanes are in the Smithsonian, used to fly gliders of his own design off the ridgetops of Monterey’s majestic Carmel Coast. Eight decades later, his grandson and great-grandson unknowingly came to the same mountain slopes, where they have established one of California’s most exciting vineyards. Perched seven miles from the Pacific Ocean, on a windswept mountaintop, Albatross Ridge is an extraordinary winegrowing site. Situated at an elevation of 850 to 1,250 feet, it is blessed by nature with rare diatomaceous, limestone and shale soils similar to those found in Burgundy. Because of these soils, its steep slopes, and a dramatic marine influence that rarely allows temperatures above 85º F, Albatross Ridge exists on the very edge of what’s possible in cool-climate-viticulture, producing Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs of uncommon beauty and grace.
